Kunsan National University to Hold Freshman Welcome Concert on the 26th

On the 26th, Korea National Gunsan University will hold a welcome concert for new students.

According to Korea National Gunsan University on the 24th, the concert will take place at 5 p.m. on the 26th at the outdoor stage next to the university basketball court. The event is planned as a stage to celebrate the leap to a nationwide university and the achievements of educational innovation, under the theme "Hwangryong Rising (飛上)," which is the symbol of the university.

The performance will feature masterpieces by the world-renowned musician and music director Joe Hisaishi, as well as famous global musical numbers. Students majoring in orchestral music at Korea National Gunsan University will participate in the performance.

President Jangho Lee said, “Our university is developing various programs to contribute to the cultural and artistic development of the local community and to provide citizens with high-quality musical experiences. This concert is intended to share and celebrate the achievements of our university, which is growing thanks to the support of the citizens.”
