According to the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission on the 24th, an analysis of 18,816 complaints related to convenience facilities for the disabled in the complaint analysis system from April 2021 to March of this year revealed that the average monthly complaints last year were 656, a 1.51-fold increase compared to the previous year.

The main complaints included ▲ reports of braille blocks being covered and demands for inspection and installation ▲ reports of inconvenience in using disabled restrooms ▲ inconvenience in the installation and use of parking spaces exclusively for the disabled.

The Commission suggested to related agencies the need for installation and management of braille blocks to ensure pedestrian safety, strengthening post-management and supervision of disabled restrooms, and preparing improvement measures for facilities in parking spaces exclusively for the disabled.
