Providing Various Test Infrastructures
KOSCOM announced on the 24th that it is recruiting companies to participate in the 'D-Testbed Project' of the Korea Fintech Support Center under the Financial Services Commission.
The D-Testbed Project is a program that helps excellent fintech ideas develop into business models. It is operated by the Korea Fintech Support Center and executed by KOSCOM.
Selected participants for the D-Testbed, whether individuals, teams, or companies, will be provided with various testing infrastructures to try out their ideas. Specifically, support includes △ financial and non-financial combined data △ remote testing environments △ expert mentoring by field.
The application period is until the 26th of this month, and applicants can apply online on the D-Testbed website according to the type that suits them, such as business-linked type, challenge task type, or free proposal type. Participants who complete the application will receive support for a total of 14 weeks from May 13 to August 16.
Outstanding teams will be selected and awarded based on the performance evaluation results of participants in the first and second half of the year. More detailed information can be found on the D-Testbed website.
Kim Seonghwan, Executive Director of KOSCOM's Digital Business Division, said, "The D-Testbed is open for those who hesitate to proceed with business due to concerns such as profitability and feasibility, even if they have good ideas," adding, "Since mentoring is provided along with mock testing, we hope for active participation from companies and individuals with innovative fintech business ideas."
