InnoTherapy Changes Listing to 'SCL Science'... Shares Brand Identity with Parent Group

Innotherapy, an affiliate of the global healthcare SCL Group, announced on the 24th that it will change its name and be listed as 'SCL Science.'

Innotherapy approved the proposal to change its name to SCL Science at the regular general meeting of shareholders in March. After completing the registration under the new name SCL Science, the company will be officially listed under the new name today.

The new name reflects the intention to unify the brand identity with the parent company SCL Group and to promote its future core business in digital healthcare. SCL Science plans to strengthen its digital healthcare business based on the group's network in the medical service sector and its competitiveness in medical data.

SCL Group is a total healthcare group that owns healthcare affiliates including SCL, Korea's first specialized testing institution established in 1983, Hanaro Medical Foundation, a specialized health screening institution, SCL Healthcare, SCL Holdings, Bio Food Lab, and Ahels.

A company representative stated, "With the new name, we will secure mid- to long-term growth engines in the new digital healthcare business sector," adding, "We will innovate our sales structure centered on new businesses and expand into the global market to enhance corporate value."

Meanwhile, on the 11th, SCL Science and its affiliate Ahels signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for business cooperation in digital medical imaging devices and artificial intelligence (AI) medical business with Nano-X Imaging Ltd., an Israeli digital medical imaging specialist company. Through cooperation with Nano-X, they plan to actively strengthen their competitiveness in the digital healthcare business.
