Rocket Lab's launch vehicle 'Electron,' carrying the microsatellite cluster No. 1, was launched from the Mahia launch site in New Zealand at 7:32 a.m. Korean time on the 24th (10:32 a.m. local time on the 24th).
The launch was originally scheduled for 7:08:57 a.m. that day but was postponed to 7:14:56 a.m. due to a detected collision risk with another spacecraft.
The microsatellite cluster will separate from the rocket 50 minutes after launch and is expected to make its first communication with the ground control station at the Daejeon Aerospace Research Institute 4 hours and 30 minutes after launch.
