On the 23rd at 9 a.m., Oh Seung-rok, Mayor of Nowon District, held a parent meeting in the district office's planning situation room to have a time of empathetic discussion.
The district is conducting the '2024 Parent Meeting' starting from April 15 to April 30, beginning with Junggye Elementary School in Seoul. This is to listen to and communicate the diverse and vivid voices of schools in response to the rapidly changing educational environment.
The target schools are those that wish to participate among elementary, middle, high, and special schools. School officials and parents participate, and 28 schools (11 elementary schools, 7 middle schools, 9 high schools, and 1 special school) hold meetings by school.
On this day, the 'Parent Meeting' was attended by Mayor Oh Seung-rok, principals, administrative directors, parent representatives, and parents, proceeding in the order of ▲Surak Elementary School ▲Sang-gyeong Elementary School ▲Daejin High School ▲Daejin Girls' High School ▲IT High School.
Mayor Oh Seung-rok said, "Through the meeting, we were able to hear vivid stories from the school field and suggestions from daily life," adding, "We will deeply reflect on the difficulties shared and do our best to improve the educational environment for children in the region by collecting opinions as much as possible."
