The training was organized to be timely utilized in schools by pre-discussing and reviewing the training content and implementation methods among instructors, and to ensure sufficient guidance time for students requiring learning support, it will be operated simultaneously in the western and eastern regions.

The main contents consist of programs executed and researched in the field, including ▲ utilization of basic academic skills diagnostic tools ▲ reading and writing guidance based on a pronunciation-centered approach ▲ number sense and counting ▲ addition and subtraction guidance based on understanding of carrying and borrowing concepts.

Kim Young-shin, Director of the Elementary and Early Childhood Education Division, said, “Students requiring learning support face difficulties in various environments, so the ability of basic academic skills dedicated teachers to provide guidance tailored to each situation is very important,” and added, “We will continue efforts to enhance the guidance capabilities of basic academic skills dedicated teachers and improve the conditions for guidance in the field.”
