Namhan-gwon, the governor of Ulleung County in Gyeongbuk, conducted an on-site inspection of 16 projects currently underway on the 23rd to fulfill the promises made to the residents during the 8th local election term.
Namhan-gwon Ulleung County Governor visited 16 project sites promoted by the county to conduct on-site inspections.
He visited six locations in Ulleung-eup, including the Ulleung Airport construction site, which is currently 45% complete, and the LPG pipeline supply project; four locations in Seomyeon, including Hakpo Port and the Taeha 1-ri district coastal maintenance project with a total budget of 40 billion KRW; and six locations in Buk-myeon, including the Ulleung Island Youth Housing project and the Gwaneumdo connecting bridge maintenance project, both aimed at improving the poor housing environment in Ulleung.
Governor Namhan-gwon urged, “I hope all county officials do their best to ensure that projects closely related to residents' daily lives proceed swiftly.”
Ulleung County plans to hold a briefing session on the 25th to inform residents about the inspection results and progress, as well as the establishment of a comprehensive development plan following the enactment of a special law and the Global Green U City initiative.
