Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH) will supply 1,812 land parcels (4,497,000㎡), 5,169 public sale apartments, and 132 commercial units within complexes by the end of this year.
LH announced on the 23rd that it will hold the "2024 Land and Housing Supply Plan Briefing" at 2 p.m. on the 26th at the LH Southern Gyeonggi Regional Headquarters located in Seongnam-si, Gyeonggi Province.
First, the land supply includes various types such as multi-family residential land, single-family residential, commercial and business, and industrial distribution land. By region, there are 808 parcels (1,929,000㎡) in the metropolitan area and 1,004 parcels (2,568,000㎡) in other provinces. Major districts include ▲ Hwaseong Dongtan 2 with 141 parcels (214,000㎡) ▲ Incheon Yeongjong with 147 parcels (204,000㎡) ▲ Yangju Hoecheon with 131 parcels (97,000㎡) ▲ Bitgreen with 61 parcels (408,000㎡) ▲ Miryang Nano with 70 parcels (401,000㎡) ▲ Ulsan Daun 2 with 151 parcels (61,000㎡), among others.
For public sale apartments, 2,293 units (44.4%) are general public sale and 2,876 units (55.6%) are newlywed hope towns. The general public sale apartments are priced within the price ceiling, making them more affordable than nearby market prices. Seventy percent of the supply is prioritized for multi-child families and others, with the remaining units available for general supply. Newlywed hope towns are housing for newlyweds and single-parent families, offering various childcare and nursing facilities within the complexes. When signing the sales contract, applicants can apply for a dedicated low-interest long-term mortgage loan for newlywed hope towns.
The supply of commercial units within complexes totals 132 units, with 48 units in the metropolitan area and 84 units in other provinces. This includes commercial units in complexes scheduled for move-in this year such as Seongnam Pangyo Daejang, Pyeongtaek Godeok, Changwon Myeonggok, and Bucheon Goean.
At the briefing on the 26th, LH will conduct lectures by external experts on real estate market outlook, provide information on land and housing supply plans for major metropolitan districts, explain the revised subscription system, and offer special lectures on real estate taxation. Additionally, regional consultation booths will be set up to provide customized consultations. The consultation booths will operate on a nationwide basis for land and on a metropolitan area basis for housing. Attendance at the briefing does not require prior registration.
Jung Suhyun, Head of LH Sales Planning Department, said, "This briefing will not only introduce LH's nationwide real estate supply plans in detail but also provide region-specific customized consultations. We have prepared various contents including this year's real estate market trends and special lectures on real estate taxation, so we hope for active participation."
