On the 23rd, the YouTube channel 'MMTG' (Munyeongteukgeup) released several videos featuring broadcaster Jaejae, who visited Coachella starting from the 20th. As of that day, a total of five related videos were uploaded with titles such as "Ordered Yukgaejang at Coachella and it cost 90,000 won," "American Starbucks where coffee and sandwich cost 70,000 won," "Coachella lemonade priced at 23,000 won per cup," "Locker rental at the festival costs 130,000 won," and "Three beers for 76,000 won," highlighting the high prices at the festival site.
In the videos, Jaejae ordered galbi, yukgaejang, and beer at a Korean restaurant, and with tax and tip added, the total came to about 92,000 won. There was also footage of him visiting an outdoor lemonade stand to quench his thirst under the blazing sun. The price of one lemonade, including a 15% tip, was approximately 23,300 won. Although hesitant due to the excessively high price, Jaejae eventually bought and drank the lemonade for over 20,000 won per cup.

Jaejae also checked the rental fees for lockers that could hold two bags and four bags, which were about 108,000 won and 137,000 won respectively, and exclaimed, "This is crazy." According to some experienced attendees, the temperature difference between day and night at the festival site is significant, and since various goods need to be stored after purchase, renting a locker is essential. Additionally, Jaejae ordered two Americanos and two sandwiches from Starbucks for delivery, paying about 69,000 won including tip, and paid about 76,000 won including tip after ordering three beers at a restaurant.
Jaejae visited Coachella upon invitation from Rio Cohen, the head of global music at YouTube. Had he not been invited, he would have had to purchase the notoriously expensive Coachella ticket himself. The cheapest Coachella ticket costs $499 (approximately 699,000 won). Shuttle fees from hotels and other accommodations to the venue are separate. If shuttle tickets are not purchased, attendees must rent and use their own vehicles. Netizens commented, "Although prices in the U.S. are high, Coachella prices are even higher," expressing astonishment. However, sunscreen was distributed free of charge at various sunscreen stations installed throughout the venue.
This year, Coachella was held from the 12th to the 21st in Indio, California, USA, with domestic idol groups ATEEZ and LE SSERAFIM attending. Last year, BLACKPINK headlined and closed the performance.
