Shilla Hotel, Limited Edition 'Shilla Bear Keyring'
Kolon Sports Partners with Inapysquare for Product Sales
Introducing new products launched by the distribution industry on the 23rd. Convenience store CU is introducing the first-ever fresh lemon highball in Korea. Paldo has released a new version of Kkokkomyeon, a spicy chicken soup noodle with kimchi, for the first time in 7 years. Dongwon F&B is launching ‘Yangban Ttukbaegi,’ a soup dish enjoyed directly from the container, and Shilla Hotel is releasing a limited edition ‘Blue Dragon Shilla Bear Keyring’ to celebrate the Year of the Blue Dragon. Kolon Sports is selling collaborative products with the creative studio ‘Inapisquare,’ which is highly popular among the MZ generation (Millennials + Gen Z).
CU Launches Fresh Lemon Highball with 8.3% Alcohol Content
CU is launching the first fresh lemon highball in Korea. The fresh lemon highball features a refreshing lemon scent and an alcohol content of 8.3%. It is a unique product made by placing thinly sliced lemon inside the can. The idea was inspired by adding lemon slices when making a highball at home. Unlike regular canned products, it uses a full open tab that opens the entire can lid like a can of preserved food, allowing you to see the lemon slices floating with the sparkling carbonation as soon as you open it. CU developed this product based on the steady popularity of mixed drinks.
New Kkokkomyeon Product After 7 Years... Paldo Launches ‘Kimchi Kkokkomyeon King Cup’
Paldo has launched the ‘Kimchi Kkokkomyeon King Cup.’ This is a new product under the Kkokkomyeon brand, released for the first time in 7 years. The distinctive feature of Kimchi Kkokkomyeon is its red broth. Paldo’s research team focused on consumers enjoying spicy chicken soup with kimchi and developed this product accordingly. The powdered soup base adds the refreshing taste of kimchi broth, and dried kimchi is included to provide a crunchy texture.
Additionally, the existing products, Kkokkomyeon and Kkokkomyeon King Cup, will also be renewed. Kkokkomyeon has been enhanced with ‘chicken broth powder’ to deepen the soup flavor. The Kkokkomyeon King Cup’s container material has been changed to allow microwave cooking, just like the Kimchi Kkokkomyeon.
Dongwon F&B Launches ‘Yangban Ttukbaegi’ Soup Dishes Enjoyed Directly from the Container
Dongwon F&B is introducing three types of ‘Yangban Ttukbaegi’ soup dishes (beef seaweed soup, pork soup, and green onion beef bone soup) that can be conveniently enjoyed directly from the container. The Yangban Ttukbaegi series can be prepared by microwaving the container for just 1 minute and 30 seconds. Unlike the existing pouch-type products that required opening the pouch and boiling the contents in a pot, the container type allows immediate consumption with just a microwave. The product is designed for single-person households with a weight of 280g and includes a spoon, making it suitable not only for meals but also as a simple hangover cure or snack.
Each menu comes with complementary ingredients that enhance the flavor. The ‘beef seaweed soup’ includes a sesame oil packet to add a nutty taste, the ‘pork soup’ contains green onion garnish, red pepper powder, and black pepper powder packets, and the ‘green onion beef bone soup’ includes a green onion garnish packet to enhance the unique flavor of the soup.
Shilla Hotel Unveils ‘Shilla Bear Keyring’ with Blue Dragon Year Theme
Seoul Shilla Hotel is launching the ‘Blue Dragon Shilla Bear Keyring.’ This is an upgraded version of the popular ‘Shilla Bear Keyring’ merchandise. The keyring was created to provide young customers with an experience of the Shilla brand. Reflecting the consumption trends of the younger generation who pursue eco-friendly consumption, it uses recyclable cotton filling. It will be sold at the Shilla Hotel bakery ‘Pastry Boutique’ until the end of this year.
