Toss Bank has been selected as the world's best bank by Forbes for the second consecutive year. It achieved first place among Korean banks for two years in a row.
Toss Bank announced on the 23rd that it ranked first in the domestic category again this year in 'The World’s Best Banks 2024' selected by the U.S. economic media Forbes.
Forbes conducts an annual survey in collaboration with the global research firm Statista to select the best banks by country, surveying financial consumers worldwide.
This year, about 49,000 customers from 33 countries participated in the survey, evaluating approximately 403 major banks worldwide. The evaluation criteria included overall customer satisfaction, willingness to recommend to acquaintances, followed by five categories: reliability, terms of use (such as fees and interest rates), customer service, digital services, and financial advisory.
Toss Bank ranked first in four out of the five categories. The highest score was received in digital services, which assessed the ease of use and intuitiveness of the bank’s website and application (app).
A Toss Bank representative said, “It seems that the efforts to continuously build Toss Bank’s unique innovation and competitiveness since its launch have been recognized,” adding, “We will continue to introduce innovative and differentiated customer-centric services so that more than ten million customers can use and be satisfied with our bank.”
