500 Copies Published at the End of April... Distributed to District Offices, Community Service Centers, etc.
Contains 50 Pages of Job Information in 8 Areas Including Public Jobs and Employment Capacity Building
Gangbuk-gu, Seoul (Mayor Lee Soon-hee) announced that it will publish and distribute a comprehensive guidebook that allows residents seeking jobs or employment to view over 6,000 diverse job opportunities at a glance, categorized by age, target group, field, and industry.
The customized job information book, consisting of 50 pages, contains job information across eight categories: the district’s job-related facilities, public jobs, employment support, vocational skill development training, employment competency enhancement, startup support, social economy enterprise promotion, and small business support.
Specifically, the public jobs section organizes information on direct job projects recruited by the district, including the number of recruits, work period, working conditions, qualification requirements, and contact information for easy reference.
The employment support section introduces employment support centers categorized by target groups and types to improve accessibility to employment information, while the vocational skill development training section introduces training such as caregiver training and new security guard education.
In particular, the employment competency enhancement section introduces programs like after-school classes led by retired teachers and the Youth Challenge Project, and the startup support section presents various programs such as the Campus Town Project and Startup Support Center.
The district plans to publish 500 copies by the end of April and distribute them to the district office, community service centers, Job Plus Centers, and various local job support facilities. Additionally, the guidebook will be posted on the district’s website so that anyone can read it as an e-book.
For more detailed information regarding job opportunities, inquiries can be made to the Job Youth Division.
Lee Soon-hee, Mayor of Gangbuk-gu, stated, "This book was published with the hope that no resident willing to work will miss out on employment due to lack of guidance," and added, "We will continue to make meticulous efforts to ensure residents can conveniently use employment support services."
