Jangseong-gun Recruiting Basic Agriculture Course for Returning Farmers School Until the 26th

The Agricultural Technology Center of Jangseong-gun, Jeollanam-do, is recruiting students for the Basic Agricultural Course of the Returning to Farming School until the 26th.

According to the county on the 22nd, this Basic Agricultural Course of the Returning to Farming School is an educational program where participants can systematically learn the knowledge and basics of farming necessary for returning to agriculture, and it is highly favored by urban residents wishing to return to farming and beginners in farming.

The program offers basic agricultural literacy education, crop-specific cultivation experiences, and visits to leading farms to help build a foundation in farming.

The recruitment period is until the 26th, with classes starting on the 8th of next month, held twice a month for a total of 10 sessions, each lasting 4 hours.

A county official said, “We plan to help reduce initial trial and error in returning to farming by providing opportunities to meet experienced returning farmers and various educational programs,” adding, “We ask for your great interest and participation.”

Meanwhile, the county also implements various support programs such as the Returning Farmer Agricultural Settlement Support Project, on-site training for new farmers, and counseling for returning farmers.
