Hamkkeilhanun Foundation Launches 'High Flyer' Support Program for Young Entrepreneurs

The With Foundation (Chairman Lee Sejung) announced that it will carry out the 'HIGH-FLYER' youth entrepreneur growth leap program.

Supported by the global financial company J.P. Morgan and hosted by the UK-based global youth entrepreneurship support organization Youth Business International (YBI), 'HIGH-FLYER' is a project that discovers young entrepreneurs who face relative difficulties in securing funds, provides a growth leap platform through customized education programs and mentoring, and supports stable growth through investment attraction opportunities and market development support funds.

The With Foundation plans to support a total of 55 youth companies this year, supporting 40 companies through the investment track in the first half of the year and newly recruiting 15 companies participating in the market track in the second half.

The program targets early-stage and youth company representatives under the age of 35, and early-stage startups that have been in business for more than one year and less than seven years are eligible to apply.

The investment track plans to recruit tech-based young entrepreneurs who wish to attract investment and provide ▲ customized education for growth-stage entrepreneurs ▲ specialized mentoring ▲ IR demo day ▲ investment house meetings.

The market track recruits lifestyle-based young entrepreneurs who wish to develop sales channels and provides ▲ sales channel development education ▲ specialized mentoring ▲ online and offline promotion expenses, and the market track will be operated as a women-focused project.

Through this, young entrepreneurs are expected to overcome difficulties in securing initial corporate funds and leap into a stable growth stage by linking investment attraction and improving sales based on market expansion.

Kim Kijun, CEO of J.P. Morgan Korea, said, “J.P. Morgan supports various social contribution activities in cooperation with domestic non-profit organizations. We hope this program will help the sustainable growth and development of early-stage young entrepreneurs.”

Anita Tiessen, CEO of YBI, added, “We are pleased to support marginalized young entrepreneurs through the With Foundation to expand their businesses and market influence, contributing to a more diverse and inclusive business environment in Korea.”

Lee Wontae, Secretary General of the With Foundation, said, “We hope that young entrepreneurs struggling with funding will grow stably through this program and that a healthy youth startup ecosystem can be established.”

The application period for the HIGH-FLYER investment track is until May 13, and detailed information can be found on the With Foundation website.
