Samsung Electronics will launch its 2024 smart monitor lineup, enhanced for home life usability, on the 22nd. The products introduced this year include ▲M8 with an AI processor and UHD resolution (32-inch, up to 400 nits) ▲M7 with UHD resolution (43-inch and 32-inch, up to 300 nits) ▲M5 with FHD resolution (32-inch and 27-inch, up to 250 nits).

In particular, the 2024 M8 model is equipped with an AI processor to provide an immersive content viewing experience. Through '4K AI Upscaling,' it supports viewing low-resolution content in 4K-level clear quality. Additionally, the 'AVA Pro' analyzes background sounds and voices in content, detects surrounding noise, and amplifies only the necessary voices, allowing important dialogues to be heard clearly even in noisy environments.
The 2024 smart monitors feature expanded connectivity among various Galaxy devices such as smartphones, offering convenient usability. The health function linked with the Galaxy Watch has also been enhanced. When connecting the Galaxy Watch with the smart monitor, the 'Exercise Tracker' allows users to view real-time health data on the smart monitor, enabling personalized workouts while watching exercise content or related programs. For the M8, connecting with Galaxy Buds supports the '360 Audio Mode,' which detects the user's head movements to provide sound accordingly.
The 2024 smart monitors can be conveniently moved and used when combined with the dedicated accessory 'Moving Stand.' Also, without any additional device and just an internet connection, users can enjoy various content services directly on the monitor. Through 'Samsung TV Plus,' real-time broadcasts and movies can be watched for free. It also supports the 'Gaming Hub,' which allows users to enjoy various game content without a PC or console device.
The smart monitor M8 will be released in Warm White color with a retail price of 850,000 KRW. The M7 and M5 come in White and Black colors. The retail price varies depending on color and size, with the M7 priced between 540,000 and 680,000 KRW, and the M5 between 330,000 and 390,000 KRW.
A Samsung Electronics representative said, "Reflecting rapidly changing consumer lifestyles, we applied AI functions to Samsung smart monitors to enhance viewing experience and usability," adding, "We will lead the monitor market by strengthening various home life usability features in line with trends."
