Former People Power Party Emergency Response Committee Chairman Han Dong-hoon announced on the 21st that he declined President Yoon Seok-yeol's lunch invitation due to health reasons.
According to political circles, Chairman Han was invited to lunch with President Yoon on the 22nd by Lee Gwan-seop, Chief of Staff of the Presidential Office, but he declined.
On the 19th, President Yoon invited all members of the People Power Party Emergency Response Committee, including former Chairman Han, to the Yongsan Presidential Office.
It is reported that President Yoon expressed this intention to his aides, and the Presidential Office staff immediately contacted Floor Leader Yoon Jae-ok, who is also acting party leader.
Former Chairman Han reportedly explained his absence was due to health reasons.
The People Power Party stated, "Acting Leader Yoon received a lunch proposal from the Presidential Office on the 19th regarding the 'Han Dong-hoon Emergency Response Committee,' but the schedule has not been finalized."
