Head of Division Eom Young-seok: "Ability to Respond Safely in Multiple Locations"
Korea Racing Authority Let's Run Park Busan-Gyeongnam (Head Eom Young-seok) conducted cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) training for employees on the 18th in observance of the company-wide CPR intensive training week.
This training was organized to teach how to respond to sudden emergency situations and to raise employees' safety awareness.
On the 18th, employees of LetsRun Park Busan-Gyeongnam gathered in the auditorium to receive cardiopulmonary resuscitation training.
Employees received CPR training based on theory and practice under the guidance of the in-house emergency medical technician, and had the opportunity to practice directly with training mannequins and automated external defibrillators (AEDs).
CPR is an emergency procedure to be performed when the heart and lung functions stop and breathing ceases. If no action is taken when cardiac arrest occurs, brain damage can happen within 4 to 5 minutes. The first 4 minutes immediately after cardiopulmonary arrest are considered the "golden time" to save a life.
Eom Young-seok, Head of Korea Racing Authority Busan-Gyeongnam Regional Headquarters, said, "Let's Run Park Busan-Gyeongnam is a place where many people gather, so employees themselves must have safety knowledge," and added, "Through emergency response training, we will establish a safe environment for both visitors and workers."
