Hanwha Hotels & Resorts announced on the 19th that it will absorb and merge its banquet and food & beverage business division through a physical division into Hanwha Foodtech.
Hanwha Hotels & Resorts explained, "This is to allow the two companies to focus on their respective business divisions, enabling swift and specialized decision-making tailored to the characteristics of each business, thereby strengthening competitiveness and business capabilities."
Hanwha Foodtech and the banquet and food & beverage business division of Hanwha Hotels & Resorts will merge at a ratio of 1 to 0. The effective date of the division merger is July 1.
