The county provides various customized programs such as health, welfare, culture, and living services in connection with the Jeonnam Happiness Bus twice a month through the Jindo-gun visiting citizen happiness service ‘Bobaeseom Ondol Public-Private Cooperation Project.’

A representative of the Jodo-myeon Senior Citizens Association said, “The volunteer groups came all the way by boat to check on the elders and take care of their health, making it a truly happy time,” expressing gratitude.

A resident of Singi Village said, “Thanks to the recommendation of the Jeonnam Fishing Village Specialization Support Center, all the residents in our village spent a festival-like day together,” adding, “I hope the volunteer groups, including university students, continue to live together in our village,” which brought about a burst of laughter.

In Singi Village, 13 residents who obtained barista certificates showed their gratitude by serving coffee they made themselves to volunteers and university students.

A county official said, “We deeply appreciate the volunteer groups who visited the villages together with the public and private sectors, became companions for the elders, and practiced various health and welfare services,” adding, “We will do our best to continue providing on-site welfare services centered on the Bobaeseom Ondol Public-Private Cooperation Project to ensure no residents are left behind.”
