Appointment of High-Value Donor Honor Group Members at Each Institution
J.Y. Park, CEO and Chief Creative Officer (CCO) of JYP Entertainment (hereinafter JYP), along with artists under JYP, are consistently practicing sharing through donations and spreading positive influence.
On the 19th, JYP announced that its artists, led by J.Y. Park, including TWICE, Stray Kids, and ITZY, have been delivering warm hearts to various organizations such as World Vision, Save the Children, The Promise, Community Chest of Korea, and UNICEF. They have also been appointed as members of high-donor honorary groups at these organizations, taking the lead in promoting the value of sharing.
In 2022, J.Y. Park donated 500 million KRW of his personal funds to World Vision, an international relief and development NGO, for medical expenses for vulnerable overseas groups, and was appointed a member of World Vision's 'Bob Pierce Honor Club.' The 'Bob Pierce Honor Club' is a high-donor group named after World Vision's founder, Bob Pierce, and appoints donors who have contributed over 100 million KRW cumulatively as members.
With the hope that children suffering from illnesses both domestically and abroad do not lose their dreams, J.Y. Park donated 500 million KRW each to World Vision and Samsung Seoul Hospital in 2022, and in 2023, donated 200 million KRW each to five regional base hospitals in Korea, including Samsung Seoul Hospital, totaling 1 billion KRW. Over the past two years, he has generously contributed 2 billion KRW of personal funds, practicing 'noblesse oblige.'
At the end of last year, during the appreciation plaque ceremony for 'donations supporting medical expenses for vulnerable groups domestically and abroad,' J.Y. Park said, "As a father of two daughters aged three and four, I feel heartbroken thinking about how hard it must be for children to be sick, and how much more difficult it must be when medical expenses are insufficient. I wanted to be a support to protect the hearts of children and their parents, so I delivered funds to hospitals to be used directly for children in need of medical expenses."

Stray Kids are spreading kindness both domestically and internationally, exchanging positive influence with their fans. Member Felix participated in the emergency relief donation for the Syria-Turkiye earthquake in February last year, donating 50 million KRW to World Vision, becoming a member of the 'Vision Society,' a donor group for those who have contributed over 10 million KRW. Since 2020, he has maintained a relationship with Save the Children, an international child rights NGO, through personal regular donations and support for lunchboxes for vulnerable groups in Korea. He is a member of the 'Honors Club' for donors contributing over 30 million KRW and is the youngest and first member of the UNICEF 'Honors Club' for donors contributing over 100 million KRW in 2024.
Other members have also returned the love they received from fans through donations. In January, Lee Know donated 100 million KRW to World Vision's global food crisis response project to help children in the poorest countries facing food shortages due to rapid climate change, becoming the youngest member of World Vision's 'Bob Pierce Honor Club.' Additionally, since 2014, he has sponsored four children overseas through World Vision and participated in emergency relief for the Turkiye-Syria earthquake in February last year and the global food crisis response project in January this year.
Changbin and Hyunjin also donated to The Promise in March 2023 for emergency relief for the Syria-Turkiye earthquake, becoming the 2nd and 3rd members of The Promise's 'Honors Club' in 2023. Furthermore, Hyunjin donated 100 million KRW to the Community Chest of Korea's Love Snail organization on his birthday last March and was appointed a 'Soul Leader' of Love Snail.
Stray Kids said, "Since many fans pay attention to and are influenced by our expressions, actions, and songs, we have always thought about doing something, however small, to help. We are grateful if we can contribute even a little to where help is needed, and we are happy to share the precious love we received from our fans."
TWICE's Nayeon and ITZY's Ryujin are active as 'No. 1' members of high-donor honorary groups at various organizations. Nayeon recently empathized with the pain of patients in regional medical centers who cannot receive proper treatment due to poor medical support. Upon hearing that her donated funds helped cover medical expenses for 10 underprivileged patients, she donated an additional 30 million KRW and joined the Community Chest of Korea's 2024 nationwide first 'Honor Society' as a member.
Previously, in 2020, Nayeon donated 50 million KRW to the Community Chest of Korea to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and aid recovery efforts. In 2023, she also donated 200 million KRW with TWICE members to Save the Children to help victims of the Turkiye-Syria earthquake.
Ryujin donated 50 million KRW each to The Promise for emergency relief for the East Coast wildfires in 2022 and for the Turkiye-Syria earthquake victims in 2023, surpassing a total donation amount of 100 million KRW and becoming the first member of The Promise's 'Honors Club.'
Ryujin said, "I am glad to be able to offer even a small help to those going through difficulties, and it is especially meaningful to be appointed as the first member of the 'Honors Club.'"
This year, JYP will continue to carry out multifaceted social contribution projects together with its artists and fans worldwide. Under the catchphrase 'EDM (Every Dream Matters!: Every Dream in the World is Precious),' JYP plans to support medical expenses for children with incurable diseases through the 'EDM Medical Expense Support Project,' provide emotional support to these children to inspire hope through the 'EDM Wish Fulfillment Project,' and promote eco-friendly projects to cultivate healthier living environments through 'Love Earth.' At the end of the year, JYP also holds 'EDM DAY,' introducing and sharing the significance of its social contribution activities carried out throughout the year.
