Native Living Edit Shop 'Muke'... Large-scale Store Opening at The Hyundai Seoul

Showcasing Over 100 Products Including Furniture, Lighting, and Audio Equipment

Domestic native premium lifestyle edit shop Mukerencia (Muke) announced on the 22nd that it has opened on the 2nd floor of The Hyundai Seoul in Yeouido, Seoul. Muke is an edit shop that aims to be a resting place for modern people with the philosophy of emptiness and fulfillment. Following Shinsegae Department Store and Lotte Department Store, it showcases products from over 100 premium living brands including furniture, lighting, audio equipment, home decor, and kitchenware at The Hyundai Seoul, one of Hyundai Department Store's flagships.


The interior trend that gained attention due to COVID-19 continues even after the endemic phase. Accordingly, the living market is also showing growth. According to Statistics Korea, the domestic living market size, which was 10 trillion won in 2010, grew to 13 trillion won in 2015. It is expected to increase to around 20 trillion won by 2024.

At The Hyundai Muke store, customers can find various premium living products such as the world-renowned Italian lighting brands ‘Artemide’, ‘Oluce’, and ‘Zafferano’, Danish lighting brand ‘Umage’, overseas premium handmade fabric ‘Burel Factory’, French high-end audio ‘Ballon de Paris’, German air purifier ‘Nanodrone’ famous for G-Dragon’s air purifier, the famous American brand ‘Marshall’, and British high-end audio ‘Bowers & Wilkins’ headphones.


Muke has the concept of ‘premium’ and ‘luxury high-end’, but it offers a wide range of product categories with prices ranging from 5,000 won to several tens of millions of won.


Lee Yoo-jung, director of Muke, said, "Muke will go beyond the image of a high-priced living edit shop and create a lifestyle complex cultural space through emotionally satisfying products that resonate with customers’ emotions and trendy, sophisticated designs."
