LGU+ Launches Exclusive Galaxy Buddy3 Priced Around 300,000 KRW Targeting Teens and 20s

LG Uplus is exclusively launching the Galaxy Buddy3, a smartphone priced in the 300,000 KRW range.

LG Uplus will hold a one-week pre-order period until the 25th ahead of the Galaxy Buddy3 launch. Pre-orders can be made on Uplus.com, and the phones will be activated sequentially starting from the 26th.

The Galaxy Buddy is a U+ exclusive 5G smartphone series first introduced by LG Uplus in 2021. This time, targeting customers in their teens and twenties, the third U+ exclusive smartphone is based on the Galaxy A15 5G model. It comes in three colors: Blue Black, Light Blue, and Yellow. The retail price is 399,300 KRW (including VAT).

It reflects the needs of teenagers who consume a lot of media and SNS content and prefer gaming. It features a 6.5-inch FHD+ large display, up to a 50MP triple camera, 128GB internal memory, 6GB RAM, and a 5000mAh large-capacity battery. It also offers 'Samsung Wallet,' which includes the 'Samsung Pay Recharge Card' service and a student ID function usable for identity verification and library access.

Customers who purchase can receive their new smartphone on the day of activation through Uplus.com’s 'Night Delivery' service. From Monday to Friday, customers who complete the Happy Call (consultant subscription confirmation call) by 5:30 PM will receive their new smartphone by 11:59 PM the same day, and on Saturdays, customers who complete the Happy Call by 4:30 PM will receive it by 10:00 PM the same day.

Customers who activate after pre-ordering will also receive gifts. The first 300 customers will be given a 'Uplus.com Package Box' consisting of a Muneo character case, BTS music-themed NFC smart talk, and a high-speed charger. Additionally, through a lottery, 100 people will receive a Galaxy Buds FE and an official Baby Panda case set, and 50 people will receive two Everland free admission tickets. Customers who newly purchase and activate the Galaxy Buddy3 can enjoy a 2-month free trial of YouTube Premium and a 6-month free trial of Microsoft 365 Basic.

In addition to additional discounts on smartphone official subsidies and switching subsidies, various benefits such as up to 15,000 KRW monthly discounts and up to 50,000 KRW additional cashback based on usage performance when issuing affiliated cards are provided continuously.
