Nowon-gu, Seoul (Mayor Oh Seung-rok) announced that it will strengthen youth-tailored services centered around the Nowon Youth Sharing Center 'Cheongnyeon Gonggam'.

Cheongnyeon Gonggam, which opened at the end of July last year, operates various talent-sharing programs that support young people's hobbies such as music and cooking, as well as lending useful items for youth that are difficult to store or purchase, including camping gear, media equipment, and tools.

As the lifestyles and needs of young people have recently become more diverse, the center plans to strengthen youth-tailored services by launching rental items as 'packages' and expanding the recruitment of talented youth instructors accordingly.

First, instead of renting single items, specific themes such as ▲emotional outing picnic ▲solo backpacking ▲family/couple camping ▲media shooting will be selected, and related items can be rented all at once through 'package rental items.'

The 'Emotional Outing Picnic Package' includes an emotional mat, small icebox, mini table, Bluetooth speaker, basket, and props bundled for rental. The 'Solo Camping Backpacking Package' tailored for solo campers rents backpacks, lightweight tents, sleeping bags, cooking utensils, and tables, divided into cooked and uncooked food options.

Additionally, the 'Camping Package for Couples and Families' plans to apply discounted prices for bundles including multi-person tents, mini beam projectors, folding tables, camping chairs, and dish sets, aiming to gain strong support from local youth through affordable item configurations.

Moreover, a camping zone has been created in a corner of the item rental room within Cheongnyeon Gonggam, allowing visitors to see and experience camping equipment firsthand, thereby enhancing understanding for those wishing to rent picnic packages.

Furthermore, the district plans to revitalize the local community by expanding talent-sharing programs operated directly by youth. Programs include home-cooked meal classes for students living alone, vegan baking classes, drawing classes, and knitting classes. Any local youth with a specialty or talent can apply as a youth talent instructor (talent-sharing program instructor), even without prior teaching experience.

Over five months since opening, 153 item rentals and 23 talent-sharing programs involving 102 young participants have been conducted, contributing not only to establishing a sustainable consumption culture but also to building a more active and healthy youth community.
