Prime Minister Han Duck-soo met with Evan Greenberg, Chairman of the U.S.-Korea Business Council, at the Government Seoul Office on the afternoon of the 18th to discuss ways to enhance economic cooperation between Korea and the United States, the Prime Minister's Office reported.
Prime Minister Han stated, "The U.S.-Korea Business Council, which has played a key role in strengthening economic cooperation between the two countries, is expected to take a more active role in expanding and developing the Korea-U.S. alliance into a global comprehensive strategic alliance."
Chairman Greenberg said, "As Chairman of the U.S.-Korea Business Council, I will make every effort to help the Korea-U.S. economic relationship take a greater leap forward."
