Rob Schneider "Korea is a brothel" slur
When controversy arose, he shamelessly said "Three months have passed"
American actor Rob Schneider, who appeared in the movie 'Home Alone 2,' sparked controversy by calling Korea "Korean whore-houses" at a political event, prompting Professor Seo Kyung-duk of Sungshin Women's University to demand an apology to Koreans.
On the 18th, Professor Seo stated on his Facebook, "It has recently come to light that actor Rob Schneider made a hateful remark calling Korea 'Korean whore-houses' at a U.S. political networking event late last year, causing controversy," and pointed out, "Rob Schneider is an actor from the famous American comedy program SNL and also appeared in the movie 'Home Alone 2.' He has previously been criticized for racist and sexist jokes."

Professor Seo said he protested against Schneider's offensive remarks via email and his personal social media accounts. He addressed Rob Schneider, saying, "No matter how much it is a joke, there are things that should and should not be said. If you cannot distinguish this, you are no better than a beast," adding, "People have 'character.' Character is revealed through words. Apologize to Koreans immediately and never utter such outrageous remarks again."
Finally, he said, "Just as I have consistently responded to disparaging remarks about Korea by global stars, I will continue to take strong action going forward."
Earlier, when Rob Schneider's past remarks became controversial, he showed indifference on the 16th by posting on his X (formerly Twitter), "A Korean disparaging joke from three months ago is being brought up," showing no concern. At the event, some senators expressed discomfort and abruptly left, and the event was reportedly cut short after only 10 minutes.
The spokesperson for Mississippi Senator Cindy Hyde-Smith, who left the event, said, "Schneider's joke was disgusting and vulgar," adding, "We left because it was not worth listening to those words." Schneider appeared in the movie 'Home Alone 2' as a hotel employee who asks the protagonist for a tip.
