Shinhan Bank Operates 'Ttaenggyeoyo' Public Delivery App...Agreements with 8 Districts

Shinhan Bank Signs Public Delivery App Service Agreement with Jung-gu and Jungnang-gu

Shinhan Bank announced on the 18th that it has signed a business agreement with Jung-gu Office and Jungnang-gu Office in Seoul to operate the public delivery app ‘Ttaenggyeoyo’.

Shinhan Bank’s ‘Ttaenggyeoyo’ offers a benevolent delivery app service with the slogan “A delivery app that returns benefits,” providing advantages to both consumers and merchants, such as a low 2% commission fee, fast settlement, and 1.5% accumulation of usage amount.

Through this agreement, Shinhan Bank has formed a public delivery app partnership with eight autonomous districts of Seoul (Gwangjin-gu, Guro-gu, Yongsan-gu, Seocho-gu, Eunpyeong-gu, Seongdong-gu, Jung-gu, and Jungnang-gu), continuously expanding its role as a win-win delivery app.

Shinhan Bank plans to issue ‘Ttaenggyeoyo Gift Certificates’ worth 400 million KRW for Jung-gu and 320 million KRW for Jungnang-gu to provide discount benefits to residents of these districts.

The ‘Ttaenggyeoyo Gift Certificates’ will be issued in May. They can be purchased at a 15% discount through the newly launched ‘Seoul Pay Plus’ app and used for payment when ordering food on the ‘Ttaenggyeoyo’ app.

Additionally, Shinhan Bank will provide 200,000 KRW as ‘Owner Support Funds’ to newly registered merchants located in Jung-gu and Jungnang-gu to help them issue their own coupons for marketing. For merchants who change their ‘Ttaenggyeoyo’ settlement account to Shinhan Bank, 50 discount coupons worth 4,000 KRW each will be provided on the first business day of the month following the change, supporting up to 400,000 KRW.

Shinhan Bank is running a point accumulation event for ‘Ttaenggyeoyo’ users until June. Customers who register their payment account for ‘Ttaenggyeoyo Pay’ with Shinhan Bank and those who hold a ‘Ttaenggyeoyo’ savings balance of 300,000 KRW or more will receive points up to 10% of the payment amount respectively, allowing a maximum of 20% point accumulation.

A Shinhan Bank official stated, “Coexistence with the local community is very important for sustainable management,” adding, “We will further expand partnerships with local governments and plan various services and events to ensure more merchants and customers can benefit.”

Meanwhile, ‘Ttaenggyeoyo’ offers a ‘Dine-in’ service that reduces the burden of kiosk and tablet installation costs for merchants. Customers visiting ‘Dine-in’ merchants can order food at their seats simply by scanning a QR code without signing up for the ‘Ttaenggyeoyo’ app.
