LG Electronics Subsidiary Hi-Em Solutek Reports First Quarter Sales Increase

Hi-EM Solutec, a subsidiary of LG Electronics specializing in maintenance of system air conditioners and HVAC equipment, announced on the 18th that its system air conditioner cleaning service sales in the first quarter increased by 29% compared to the same period last year.

System air conditioner cleaning services are usually concentrated between April and June, before the products are fully operated. However, this year, more consumers have been using the cleaning service since the first quarter. Hi-EM Solutec explained that the cleaning period has advanced due to a faster rise in temperatures compared to previous years, as well as the effects of spring yellow dust and fine dust.

To respond to this demand, the company is offering LG Electronics' genuine system air conditioner cleaning services at a 20% discounted price until the end of this month. Additionally, for customers who apply for cleaning services for six or more system air conditioners by the end of next month, a three-month free repair benefit will be provided for indoor units.

Yu Gwang-yeol, CEO of Hi-EM Solutec, said, "With the earlier onset of summer and increased frequency of fine dust and yellow dust, the timing for system air conditioner cleaning is also advancing. We will strengthen warranty services to meet customer demand for respiratory health and a comfortable indoor environment."
