Collision Between KTX and Mugunghwa Trains at Seoul Station... 287 Passengers Transferred

A Mugunghwa train collided with a KTX-Sancheon train that was stopped at Seoul Station. Fortunately, there were no casualties.

At around 9:25 a.m. on the 19th, a Mugunghwa train collided with a KTX-Sancheon train bound for Busan that was stopped at the Gyeongbu Line platform of Seoul Station.

At the time, there were 287 passengers on board the KTX-Sancheon train. As a result of the accident, the front wheels of one car of the Mugunghwa train derailed.

Korea Railroad Corporation is transferring all passengers from the KTX-Sancheon train and is investigating the exact cause of the accident.
