In particular, the ‘Shaheen Project,’ currently underway as the largest petrochemical investment in Korea (approximately KRW 9 trillion), is evaluated as a driving force to effectively respond to changes in the energy market and enhance S-OIL’s competitiveness.
Additionally, S-OIL has established a carbon emission reduction roadmap and is expected to reduce carbon emissions by improving energy efficiency through the Shaheen Project.
They are expanding ESG management on-site by obtaining ISO environmental management system certification, maintaining the highest level of ‘environmental quality grades’ for gasoline and diesel, and providing carbon-neutral points linked to electronic receipts.
S-OIL conducts systematic marketing activities such as advertising campaigns, promotions, membership programs, and service and quality management under the principle that ‘customers are the reason and purpose of the company’s existence, and customer satisfaction is the highest value the company pursues.’
In particular, by leading with the character ‘Gudoil,’ S-OIL actively communicates with consumers and enhances brand influence through offline field marketing, short-form content aligned with digital trends, and the Polar Rescue animation.
