Polaris Office announced on the 18th that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with WeRaiser to innovate international shipping and logistics documents using AI (artificial intelligence).
WeRaiser operates an automation platform called 'WiseConvey,' which applies Vision AI and Large Language Models (LLM). The platform works by taking a photo of documents sent by Company A, having Vision AI read them, and using LLM to classify and rewrite the information. Then, it creates new documents tailored to the format or platform of Company B. Recognized for its technological capabilities, WeRaiser was selected as one of 14 promising AI startups in a global collaboration program jointly conducted by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and OpenAI.
Through this agreement, Polaris Office will support office engine and AI technologies and collaborate in the commercialization of document automation. Solutions owned by Polaris Office, such as web office, converter (document format conversion function), and filters, are expected to be utilized.
A Polaris Office representative stated, “We will support core AI technologies that can standardize and automate unstructured documents using our self-developed software development kit (SDK). This will be a good example of directly applying generative AI to industry to enhance work productivity.”
He added, “We will continue to contribute to the development of the document AI solution market by collaborating with companies that want to apply AI and LLM to industry.”
Meanwhile, Polaris Office announced on the 15th that it was selected as a joint research and development institution for a new national project by the Ministry of Science and ICT. Through this project, it will promote the development of a cloud-based platform (PaaS) for AI models and services.
