Guro-gu (Mayor Moon Heon-il) will hold the 'Integrity Leader Meeting' on the 19th at the Largo Ville Opera Hall in Ganghwa-do.

The district announced that the Integrity Leader Meeting was organized to create a fair and transparent Guro-gu by encouraging communication and empathy among employees through the exemplary leadership of senior officials.

At the meeting, Moon Heon-il, the mayor of Guro-gu and an integrity leader, along with senior officials, will attend. After reading the Integrity Practice Resolution, they will engage in group discussions to improve integrity among executives and discuss ways to address organizational issues, strengthening their commitment to practicing integrity.

In particular, the Integrity Practice Resolution includes ▲ implementing a transparent public service by adhering to laws and principles ▲ performing duties fairly by preventing corruption ▲ eradicating unreasonable practices such as accepting money, entertainment, mediation, and solicitation ▲ actively carrying out tasks for residents, demonstrating a strong commitment to fostering a fair and transparent organizational culture.

Mayor Moon Heon-il of Guro-gu stated, “Just as clean water flows from the top, senior officials must lead by example for the employees,” and added, “I hope they will not be complacent but take the lead in creating an integrity-based organizational culture.”

Since the launch of the 8th local government administration, Guro-gu has emphasized communication and a horizontal organizational culture, listening to the voices of organizational members through anti-corruption capability assessments for Guro-gu employees, and has worked to improve vulnerable areas within the organization.

As a result, Guro-gu achieved the highest grade for two consecutive years in the comprehensive public institution integrity evaluation in 2022 and 2023.
