Aegis Asset Management's subscription-based office service, introduced through Factorial Seongsu, has welcomed Hyundai Motor·Kia Robotics Lab as its first client. Designed from the user's perspective rather than the supplier's, it targets the market by enhancing user convenience with a flexible lease contract structure, exclusive lounges, smart meeting rooms, and digital services.
Aegis Asset Management announced on the 17th that it has opened the subscription-based office service ‘SpaceClick’ at Factorial Seongsu.
Generally, the office market is supplier-driven, causing various inconveniences for users. First, lease contracts are long-term, typically ranging from 5 to 10 years, making it difficult for users to quickly adapt to business changes. Additionally, when moving into a new office, initial investments such as deposits and interior costs are required, along with operational expenses for security and restoration costs upon vacating, which create burdens.
SpaceClick is a subscription-based office service prioritizing the resolution of user inconveniences. It offers lower deposits compared to nearby markets and allows contracts with a minimum duration of one year. Furthermore, it provides furniture and interior for shared spaces such as lounges and meeting rooms for tenants, reducing direct and indirect costs compared to furnishing the entire space. Also, transparent confirmation of lease conditions is possible through a communication channel where office quotes can be checked.
It also plans to enhance user convenience by synergizing with cutting-edge smart offices. SpaceClick debuts at Factorial Seongsu, a 3rd generation office supplied by Aegis Asset Management. Factorial Seongsu, located in Seongsu-dong 2-ga, Seoul, has a total floor area of 21,060㎡, spanning from four basement levels to ten above-ground floors, and was completed in February. The goal of 3rd generation offices is to innovate user experience and improve productivity through digital technology and differentiated content.
To develop the 3rd generation office, collaboration was made with global innovative companies such as Samsung Electronics and Hyundai Motor·Kia. Hyundai Motor·Kia Robotics Lab implements various robotic technologies at Factorial Seongsu, including the ‘DAL-e delivery robot’ that delivers F&B and parcels to exclusive floors, unmanned parking robots, and electric vehicle charging robots. Samsung Electronics provides SmartThings technology equipped with IoT (Internet of Things) technology that connects devices such as electronic equipment and lighting, as well as the building central air-conditioning control B.iot platform that integrates building infrastructure management. Pinpoint, a digital space operation solution company, is responsible for building the operating system (OS) that enables convenient office services via mobile.
SpaceClick offers subscription-based offices on the 9th and 10th floors of Factorial Seongsu. Hyundai Motor·Kia Robotics Lab, which collaborated from the development stage, became the first tenant of SpaceClick. It is expected that users will enjoy an office environment combined with robotics and gain experience as a testbed for robotics products.
An Aegis Asset Management representative said, "We are honored to launch SpaceClick at Factorial Seongsu, a 3rd generation office that innovates user experience through digital experiences, and to welcome Hyundai Motor·Kia Robotics Lab, a global leader in mobility and robotics industries, as our first client. We will do our best to enhance user satisfaction with SpaceClick’s convenient work environment, including a secure security system, exclusive lounges, and smart meeting rooms."
