Dong-A University (President Lee Hae-woo) announced on the 17th that it held the '2024 Freshman Career Camp' to strengthen new students' initial adaptation and enhance their self-directed career competencies.

The camp, organized by the university's University Job Plus Center, took place at the Homers Hotel in Busan with about 70 freshmen participating.

Participants completed missions such as 'Finding the Competencies Needed in This Era' through team-based experiential activities, and various programs were provided to help freshmen adapt, including useful information for university life and career exploration.

A briefing session was also held on the 'Customized Employment Service for Current Students,' which supports career competency development and job exploration through AI.

Oh Eung-soo, director of the University Job Plus Center, said, "We will continue to pay attention to help freshmen adapt to the new environment and improve satisfaction with career and employment support."

This year, Dong-A University was newly selected for the 'Customized Employment Service for Current Students' project, and the 'University Job Plus Center Project' was promoted to a 'hub type,' actively promoting employment support projects for current students such as the 'Build-up Project for 1st and 2nd-year students' and the 'Jump-up Project for 3rd and 4th-year students.'
