Softcamp, a security specialist company based on zero trust, signed a business agreement on the 17th for a business partnership in the generative AI security field with SFin Technology, a cloud management (MSP) and artificial intelligence (AI) platform company.
SFin Technology, a leading company in Microsoft Azure business, is introducing generative AI to its customers. Recently, it launched ‘GitgoGPT,’ a GPT (Azure OpenAI)-based enterprise-customized generative AI platform that provides answers by comprehensively judging question intent and document content based on internal company data.
Throughout the industry, privacy infringement issues through generative AI services have been continuously raised. Some overseas companies have restricted the use of ChatGPT due to concerns about internal confidential information leaks. Concerns about misuse of generative AI services or the possibility of core information leakage are already well known. The key topic is to use generative AI in a security-safe environment to prevent sensitive information containing company or customer data from being leaked.
The two companies are expected to provide services that solve security issues in the use of generative AI. Softcamp’s SHIELDGate remote browser isolation technology is added to SFin Technology’s GPT (Azure OpenAI)-based enterprise-customized generative AI platform ‘GitgoGPT’ to prevent leakage of sensitive information such as company and personal data. They plan to add step-by-step functions to identify and control sensitive information infringement queries such as personal information in advance while using generative AI services.
Softcamp’s SHIELDGate is an internet access security service applied with Remote Browser Isolation (RBI) technology that realizes zero trust security for connections that users cannot trust. When accessing the internet, it fundamentally blocks access threats through remote browser isolation technology according to the Zero Trust Conditional Adaptive Policy (ZTCAP), safely protecting against untrusted connections.
Lee Seung-geun, CEO of SFin Technology, said, “By building the Azure Open AI ecosystem and providing AI integrated services through alliances, customers can use generative AI without worrying about information leakage. We are pleased to align with our vision to contribute to customers’ success and business growth.”
Kim Jong-pil, Vice President of Softcamp, said, “By applying remote browser isolation technology and adding functions to identify and control data that require query blocking in advance while using generative AI services, users can obtain information essential for their work. Administrators will be able to use it while protecting the company’s sensitive information.”
