"Promoting Sustainability" Launch of BMW Korea Future Foundation University Student Supporters

BMW Korea Future Foundation announced on the 17th the launch of a new university student supporter group called ‘Future Heroes.’

The supporters promote the foundation’s social contribution activities and share the value and importance of a sustainable future with future talents. Since last month, participants were recruited from current and returning students of four-year universities in Korea who have a strong interest in social values, and 12 were finally selected as the first group of supporters. The first Future Heroes will engage in activities individually or in teams from this month until the end of the year, planning and producing public interest content related to environmental protection and more.

They will directly participate in foundation projects such as the Young Talent Dream Project, Junior Campus, and Next Green To Go. Supporters receive a fixed monthly activity allowance and attend expert lectures. Go Heung-beom, Secretary General of BMW Korea Future Foundation, said, "The goal is not simply to introduce the foundation’s activities, but for students to directly share and advance the results of their reflections on a better future."
