Gochang Culture and Tourism Foundation (hereinafter referred to as the Foundation) will hold the '2024 Gochang Starry Night Green Camp' camping festival together with Gochang-gun from the 19th to the 21st at the Buan-myeon Bokbunja Cluster Recreation Area.
According to the Gochang Culture and Tourism Foundation on the 17th, this festival was prepared to revitalize the Gochang Bokbunja Cluster Recreation Area.
The Foundation, together with Gochang-gun, will operate various programs for nationwide camping tourists, such as 'Traditional Kite Flying,' 'Family Soccer Darts,' and 'Gochang Starry Night Green Party.'
Earlier, last month, 200 teams (600 people) of nationwide camping tourists were recruited within 30 minutes of the pre-registration opening, showing great response.
In particular, promotional booths for local specialties such as Gochang vinegar and watermelon bread will be opened, and programs like the Gochang Free Travel program will also be operated, expected to play a significant role in promoting the region.
An Jong-seon, Executive Director of the Gochang Culture and Tourism Foundation, said, "The domestic camping population has reached about 7 million, making camping one of the representative leisure cultures of the people," and added, "We hope that camping tourists from all over the country will create precious memories while staying in Gochang in connection with the 21st Green Barley Field Festival."
