Dong-Eui University Signs Joint Cooperation Agreement with Busan Transportation Corporation

Students of the Department of Fire and Disaster Prevention Administration Participate as Safety Guardians of Busan Metro

On the 16th, Dong-Eui University signed a business agreement with Busan Transportation Corporation for community contribution and mutual development in the conference room on the 2nd floor of the university main building.

At the signing ceremony, Dong-Eui University President Han Suhwan, External Vice President Lee Imgeon, Director of External Cooperation Kim Chiyong, faculty members of the Department of Fire and Disaster Administration, and Busan Transportation Corporation President Lee Byungjin, Safety Headquarters Director Lee Jonghun, and other officials attended.


Through the agreement, both institutions agreed to cooperate on ▲ community service and contribution ▲ exchange of human and material resources ▲ cooperation and support for spreading and practicing safety culture ▲ information exchange, research cooperation, and job experience.


Following the signing ceremony, a launching ceremony for Busan Metro Safety Guardians was held in front of the university main building, with the participation of about 80 students from the Department of Fire and Disaster Administration.

The students of the Department of Fire and Disaster Administration at Dong-Eui University, who will act as Busan Metro Safety Guardians, will receive training from Busan Transportation Corporation on responding to daily safety accidents and will engage in activities to assist citizens in danger at subway stations and identify and improve safety vulnerabilities such as risk factors.


President Han Suhwan of Dong-Eui University said, “Through this agreement, as a university with a subway station named after it, we will strive to contribute to the development of the local community and the spread of safety culture among citizens,” adding, “I hope the students of the Department of Fire and Disaster Administration will do their best to play a meaningful role in helping the safety of the city and its citizens by applying their major.”
