Festival Event at the New Health Center Plaza on the 7th of Next Month

Muan-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Kim San) will hold the 55th Muan-gun Residents' Day ceremony and the opening ceremony of the Muan-gun Health Center and Muan-gun Complex Cultural Center together on the 7th of next month at the new Health Center building (former 5-day Market) square.

According to the county on the 16th, to celebrate the construction of the Muan-gun Complex Cultural Center, which has been a key focus of the 7th local government administration as a core of balanced urban-rural development, and the new era of the Muan-gun Health Center with the residents, the event will be held in two parts aligned with the 55th Muan-gun Residents' Day: Part 1 will be the Residents' Day event, and Part 2 will be the opening ceremony of the Health Center and Complex Cultural Center.

The event will begin with pre-ceremony performances by five village community clubs, followed by △ Part 1: Hometown Love Donation Ceremony, Residents' Award, Honorary Resident Certificate, County Development Merit Awards, Filial Son and Daughter Awards, and other Residents' Day events △ Part 2: Progress report on the Health Center and Complex Cultural Center projects, groundbreaking and unveiling ceremonies, and facility tours.

Muan-gun established the Muan-gun Residents' Day ordinance in 1970, designating May 7th every year as Muan-gun Residents' Day, and holds indoor and outdoor commemorative events biennially to enhance residents' unity and pride.

Meanwhile, since its opening on the 1st, the Muan-gun Health Center has been equipped with the latest medical facilities and provides health and medical services. The Muan-gun Complex Cultural Center will sequentially house major facilities such as a small cinema, youth center, children's library, and cultural center, supporting convenient administrative services and diverse cultural activities.
