Through the ‘Closed School Utilization Policy Project’ led by the Jeollanam-do Office of Education and cooperated by Bukha-myeon and the Residents' Autonomy Committee, foundational work such as lawn planting, jokgu court installation, and outdoor restroom improvements were carried out, with a total project cost of 300 million KRW.

County Governor Kim Han-jong said, “Yaksu Middle School, which has functioned as the emotional center of the village for nearly half a century, has been reborn as a space for residents' happiness,” and added, “We expect it to bring renewed vitality to Bukha-myeon.”

Meanwhile, after the opening ceremony of Ogam Yaksuteo, Bukha-myeon held a spring cleaning session for about an hour, picking up trash along the roadside near the township office.
