The world's first artificial intelligence (AI) beauty pageant is set to take place. The winning AI woman will receive a total prize of $20,000 (approximately 28 million KRW).
On the 16th, the UK Daily Mail reported that the creator platform Fanvue is recruiting participants for the world's first AI beauty pageant to be held this May. The judges include two AI influencers with over 300,000 Instagram followers: Aitana Lopez and Emily Pellegrini. Along with two human judges, a total of four judges will be involved. Those wishing to participate must submit AI-generated images of women and then provide answers to questions.
The questions range from detailed aspects needed to create AI-generated images to typical beauty pageant questions such as "What is your aspiration to make the world a better place?" The pageant will first select the top 10 contestants before choosing the final three at an online awards ceremony in May. The organizers expect thousands of participants in total.
Additionally, the judging panel consists of four members: two experts in beauty pageants, marketing, and modeling, and two AI influencers. Contestants will be evaluated based on how they implement AI tool technology. It is anticipated that higher scores will be awarded to those who successfully render detailed areas that AI typically struggles with, such as the eyes and hands.
Participants will also receive differentiated scores based on their social networking service (SNS) influence, number of fans, and interaction methods with followers. The winner will receive a $5,000 cash prize and benefits from the $3,000 Imagine Creator Mentoring Program. The second-place winner will receive a $2,000 promotion package on the Fanvue platform, and the third-place winner will receive a $400 package on the Fanvue platform.
