National Science Museum Collaborates with Kyungpook National University Natural History Museum
On the 16th, the National Research Institute of Cultural Heritage will sign a business agreement for joint academic investigation and research on natural heritage with the National Science Museum, Jangheung County, and the Natural History Museum of Kyungpook National University in the main conference room of Jangheung County Office. They will systematically discover and secure natural monuments and scenic sites in the Jangheung area and carry out cooperative projects to promote their historical and landscape value.
The four institutions will conduct joint academic investigations seasonally within the year. Based on this, they will publish a joint investigation report and promote exhibitions. A representative of the institute stated, "We expect professional and efficient research on various biological taxa," adding, "We plan to share the investigation results internationally through the Global Biodiversity Information Facility database."
