April 21, 1-6 PM, 1st Anniversary Event 'Cheongnyeon, Maju Bom' Showcasing Youth's Healthy Daily Life
Featuring Craft Workshops, Healing Yoga, Vegan Food & Healthy Meal Making
Gwanak-gu (Mayor Park Jun-hee)'s symbol, 'Gwanak Youth Center,' will hold its 1st anniversary event 'Youth, Facing Spring' on April 21.
Gwanak Youth Center is an integrated youth support platform established by the district last April, spanning from the basement level 1 to the 7th floor, aimed at creating a special youth city in Gwanak where young people can nurture their dreams.
Since its establishment, the district has operated a public-private governance system to reflect the voices of youth, and in August last year, appointed the chairperson of the Gwanak Youth Center Operating Committee as the honorary 'Gwanak Youth Center Director,' actively supporting youth to independently develop youth policies. As a result, over 50,000 users have visited so far, showing high enthusiasm.
The event 'Youth, Facing Spring,' hosted by the Gwanak Cultural Foundation, is themed 'Filling Today's Youth Together in a Healthy Way' and will be filled with various programs focusing on healthy leisure and dietary habits.
▲Craft workshops ▲Healing yoga ▲Making vegan food and healthy meals, among other experience programs reflecting the healthy daily hobbies of youth, will be held in various spaces within the Gwanak Youth Center facilities such as the shared cafe, practice rooms, and shared kitchen.
Additionally, there will be a youth networking party called 'Yep, Networking,' where young people working in various industries can meet.
The 1st anniversary event 'Youth, Facing Spring,' which captures the voices of youth at Gwanak Youth Center, will take place from 1 PM to 6 PM, and any youth residing or active in the area can participate. However, participation in experience programs and the networking party requires prior registration.
