The driving force behind Scheffler donning the 'Green Jacket' for the second time was his precise iron shots. Equipped with TaylorMade's P7TW irons, he dominated the field. On the final day, his greens in regulation rate was 67%. Over the four days, he boasted a 64% 'pinpoint iron shot' accuracy.

Scheffler assembled his clubs without being tied to a specific brand. He carried a TaylorMade Qi10 driver (8 degrees) and Qi10 fairway wood (15 degrees) in his bag. Additionally, he used Srixon ZU85 irons (#3-4) and TaylorMade P7TW irons (#5-PW). His wedges were Titleist Vokey Design SM8 (50, 56 degrees) and Vokey Design Wedge Works Proto (60 degrees). Scheffler, who had said he would withdraw and rush home regardless of his ranking if his heavily pregnant wife went into labor, showed incredible focus on the course to outpace his competitors. He exclaimed, "I did my best to stay calm. I tried not to lose patience on the course," adding, "Today, I made all the important shots and crucial putts."
