KB Kookmin Bank Forms Emergency Management Committee... Introduces Customer-Centric Performance Indicator CPI

KB Kookmin Bank is forming an emergency response committee related to the Hong Kong H-Index-based Equity-Linked Securities (ELS) and is strengthening financial consumer protection.

On the 15th, according to KB Kookmin Bank, the emergency response committee will be organized as a control tower to quickly establish and implement key action tasks focused on restoring customer trust and enhancing the effectiveness of internal controls.

As part of restoring customer trust, the emergency response committee will introduce the 'CPI (Customer Performance Indicator),' a performance metric that emphasizes resolving customer issues and meeting their needs.

To strengthen the effectiveness of internal controls, an AI-applied 'Internal Control Fraud Detection System (FDS)' will be operated. The process for checking loan appropriateness will also utilize 'Public MyData' and other resources.

New products will be launched to support customers' stable asset formation. To raise internal ethical awareness, a financial ethics education program will be conducted for all employees.

Meanwhile, on the same day, KB Kookmin Bank held a 'Financial Ethics Practice and Accident Prevention Resolution Meeting' at the KB Kookmin Bank New Building in Yeouido, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul, where all employees pledged to practice financial ethics together. Former executives attended the event, and employees participated by watching the broadcast from their respective departments or branches.

Lee Jae-geun, President of KB Kookmin Bank, said to all employees, “Financial accidents occur because the 'basics and principles' were not properly followed,” and added, “I hope all employees firmly reaffirm their commitment to practicing financial ethics and preventing accidents with vigilance and a sense of crisis.”
