‘Cheongsong Local Young CEO Network’ Launch Ceremony Held

Cheongsong-gun, Gyeongbuk Province, held the launch ceremony of the ‘Cheongsong Local Young CEO Network’ on April 5, with about 20 young entrepreneurs who will be responsible for the future of Cheongsong-gun, mainly from the youth generation, officially starting their activities.

Starting with this launch ceremony, the county expects local young people to build bonds through active information sharing and to breathe new life into the region with a vibrant and lively atmosphere.

The ‘Cheongsong Local Young CEO Network’ is a consultative body composed of young entrepreneurs participating in the ‘Local Pop-up Store Young CEO Discovery and Development Project,’ which is part of Cheongsong-gun’s 2024 regional extinction response initiatives, aimed at strengthening entrepreneurial capabilities and exchanging information.

The ‘Local Pop-up Store Young CEO Discovery and Development Project,’ promoted to support young entrepreneurs in various fields and to build a youth network, plans to start with a local brand young CEO development academy, followed by consulting support from expert mentors in each field, a local resource-utilizing local brand product idea contest, and ultimately operate a pop-up store linked to major cities at the end of the year to promote excellent products from Cheongsong’s youth.

A young entrepreneur who participated in the launch ceremony said, “Compared to cities, it was difficult to access information related to startups, and there were not many peers, so information exchange was lacking. Through this opportunity, young entrepreneurs in Cheongsong want to join forces to create a prosperous Cheongsong for all.”

County Governor Yoon Kyung-hee said, “I hope the Young CEO Network will serve as a smooth communication channel between the youth and the administration,” adding, “I expect that by reflecting the flexible ideas of young people in policies, Cheongsong will become a place where young people want to live in the future.”
