MIPTV is the world's largest TV video content market held annually in April in Cannes. This year, producers, distributors, and buyers from eighty-five countries visited.

Twelve domestic production and distribution companies participated in the Korean Pavilion established by the Ministry of Culture and the Korea Creative Content Agency. These include CJ ENM, KBS Media, SBS Contents Hub, MBC, AStory, Contents Panda, Daehan Media World, SK Entertainment, Kim Jong-hak Production, Number Three Pictures, Big House Entertainment, and Even ENT. They conducted 192 export consultations, achieving sales of 72.95 million USD (approximately 99.795 billion KRW).

The most eye-catching work was "Kidnapping Day," which was introduced at the "Series On Board" event organized by the Korea Creative Content Agency last October and decided for a UK remake co-production. Lee Sang-baek, CEO of the production company AStory, Han Se-min, president, along with Vivian Miller Rommel of Studio Hamburg Production, the UK remake producer, and Ronan Blaney, the UK scriptwriter, took the stage at the K-Drama showcase to present the global success factors and the background of the co-production.

A representative from the Korea Creative Content Agency said, "'Kidnapping Day,' as well as OTT-specialized broadcasting video content productions such as CJ ENM's 'LTNS' and MBC's 'University Sports Festival: Youth Athlete Village,' attracted significant attention from many buyers."
