Korean Air holds a joint labor-management walking event every year to celebrate its founding anniversary. This year, marking the 60th anniversary, the event was organized as an experiential program that employees and their families could participate in. Activities included family sports games, visits to the Aerospace Museum, celebratory performances, and prize draws.
The origin of the Korean Air labor union dates back to the Aviation Branch of the National Federation Labor Union, established in 1965 during the Korean Air Corporation era. The union has continuously maintained its presence even after Korean Air was privatized following its founding in 1969.
