In the video, a man is seen practicing swings right behind a warning banner in the park that prohibits golf, soccer, and similar activities. After swinging the golf club several times, the man moves to another spot. In the accompanying photos, the man is shown placing a golf ball on the grass and taking a swing stance, clearly practicing golf. The park is known to be Maru Park in Irwon-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul.
Netizens reacted with comments such as "How much do they play screen golf, ugh," "Please stop causing public nuisance," "If you can't afford to go to a practice range, then don't play golf," and "This should be reported immediately to the Safety Report Center."
Inconsiderate Golf Practice Regardless of Time and Place

Inconsiderate golf practice regardless of time and place has already been a subject of multiple controversies. Previously, on the 12th, a man practicing golf was spotted at Toseong in Pungnap-dong, Songpa-gu, Seoul. Seoul’s Pungnap-dong Toseong is designated as Historic Site No. 11 by the national cultural heritage since 1963. Additionally, in February, a man playing golf on private land near an elementary school in Suncheon, Jeollanam-do, was also caught and faced public criticism.
Moreover, last year, a man practicing golf in an apartment underground parking lot was exposed, causing public disapproval. In 2021, a man practicing swings toward the sea at a beach sparked controversy. Notably, despite the presence of vacationers, he was known to have actually hit golf balls.
Indiscriminate golf practice in public places is repeatedly witnessed, but even when reported to the police, the punishment is only a fine of 100,000 KRW. Although a bill banning golf practice in public places was proposed in 2021, it failed to pass the National Assembly.
