On the 13th, Gwangjin-gu, Seoul (Mayor Kim Kyung-ho) held the '2024 Gwangjin Family Spring Flower Road Walking Contest' at Children's Grand Park. Organized by the Gwangjin-gu Sports Council (Chairman Lee Jung-seop), this walking contest was arranged to promote a healthy walking culture and provide opportunities for wholesome physical activities that families and neighbors can enjoy together.
The event was attended by Kim Kyung-ho, Mayor of Gwangjin-gu, local politicians, and about 1,000 residents of Gwangjin-gu. The walk took place along an approximately 2.5 km route starting from the open stage at Children's Grand Park, passing through the Sea Animal Zoo, amusement park, and futsal stadium, and returning to the starting point.
All participants received commemorative gifts, and after the contest, a raffle was held to award abundant prizes such as TVs and air purifiers. Breakdance and K-pop dance performances were held, greatly enhancing the atmosphere.
Kim Kyung-ho, Mayor of Gwangjin-gu, stated, “We will continue to expand the walking contest and do our best to promote the health of our residents.”
